Here's a few pictures taken from the Gibsons dock on a grey day. Since my trip to New Zealand with Shirley I've been trying to be a tourist in my own town - trying to see things & take pictures as if it's the first time I've seen them. Also trying to take pictures that I might not have considered to have had aesthetic merit previously. I think that my recent foray into painting is helping me to see things in different ways. I'll attempt to keep posting throughout the summer & I will wait with baited breath for my children to comment...
This is my favourite "grad" picture of Katie (despite what she thinks), and since she is such a pretty flower, I have added some more flower pictures. The roses are downtown Gibsons by the George Gibsons statue, and the other two pictures were taken at Davis Bay by the beach - with my favourite little cottage in the background.
here are some creepy semana santa photos from emma's dad's home town. the whole town gets together and forms a parade. everyone gets dressed up and weaves up and down the town's narrow streets. really erie experience. and it still give emma the spooks!
Well guys, I think this completes the scenic pictorial of NZ 2007 (although I still might post some of the relative pictures). Thanks for your comments Mike, I enjoyed them. Um...Kate? I look forward to seeing more from you two too!
