Backyard Bear

This bear was up in the plum tree at 7am. He wasn't keen on me taking pictures and made a fairly hurried exit. He's probably about three years old & this is the second time we've seen him in the yard.

living room reno

Here's some pics of the living room without mirrors & nice white walls. It's a lot brighter and I still have room for more art! Just have to get some blinds to protect from sun damage now. I wouldn't mind some new furniture too - but that will have to wait awhile.

Gram in Kimberley, Oct 2009

Jerry and I made a quick trip to Kimberley near the end of October. Mom is doing fine (for going on 93) but she couldn't see too well. So, .......we booked an appointment with the Optomitrist last Tuesday to check her eyes. Turns out her eyes are great - 20/25. The problem is that she's been wearing someone else's glasses for about a year! We are currently trying to track down the suspect!
