Calgary Stampede

First Stampede for me in about 30 years. Some things have changed & some things haven't. The rides are higher, faster, and definitely more stomach churning. The midway snacks are even more calorie laden (deep-fried oreos?!) The rodeo events are much the same. The only difference I noticed are that some of the bull-riders wear helmets and flashy metallic chaps. We had a great day, got rained on a couple of times, but it didn't damper our enthusiasm.
